August 2, 2010

I have FINALLY jumped into the game of drugstore couponing, and I am hooked.
I will post here only the transaction I make each week (some weeks I won't buy anything)
It was so annoying the first time I went, and the CVS guy here in crestwood is a punk! So I am going to go first thing in the morning and HOPE he is not there!!
I buy 2 Sunday papers each week to get double coupons, this helps rank in the store bucks

Walgreens to my disappointment does NOT roll over register rewards in addition to a coupon for one item. So, it's not as fun and not as great of deals. However- this week this is what I did:

Purchased 1 Gillette fusion razor $9.87
Used $4.00 coupon
Paid $5.87 (+tax)
Received a $5.00 register reward- thats like paying .87
but..
They have pencils-3x5 index cards and 1 subject note pads from 9cents-29cents so I used the $5.00 RW towards that, which I purchased 10-10 pk pencils, 12 index cards and 12 notebooks and only spent $3.00

CVS for the week of August 2, 2010 ECB (Extra Care Bucks)

Purchased 1 Gillette Fusion Razor $9.89
Coupon -$4.00
I had prior ECB coupon -$2.00
Payed at Register $3.89
Received $5.00 in ECB

Purchased 1 Playtex Tampons $6.99
Used EBC -$5.00
Used B1G1 free coupon
Payed $1.99 for 2 36 ct boxes
Received $3.00 ECB

Purchased 1 Bic Solell Razor $4.99
Use ECB-$3.00
Use B1G1 Free Coupon-
Pay $1.99 for 2

Kroger still has the buy 4 get $4 off of select items. With my coupons I collected this will be what my transaction looks like there

Pampers Pull-ups $8.99
Coupon-$1.50

Herbal Essence Shampoo $2.99
Get one Free with Coupon

Gillette Old Spice Body Wash $2.99
Coupon-$2.00

Gillette Old Spice Body wash $2.99
Coupon -$2.00

Total Amount to pay $12.46
-$4.00 at register
Total $8.46 (plus tax)

THAT'S HOW MUCH I WOULD PAY FOR THE PULL-UPS ALONE!!!

Kroger is also having a half off cereal this week. I have loaded up on coupons and load them up from kroger.com onto your shoppers card too!

Have Fun!
